Pet Danica Promenade

The Herceg Novi promenade, six kilometers long, was named after the names of five Danica's, young girls who bravely fought and died in the Second World War. The Promenade starts in Meljine (where we are located) and ends in Igalo.

Part of the route of the former famous railway of Sarajevo - Zelenika also passed through this walkway, and in Herceg Novi, along with sounds of ship sirens, it was once possible to hear the horn of the popular train Cira. 

Today, beside the promenade, there is the sound of waves, the masts that rattle, and the music from the cafes and restaurants that are located along the entire promenade. You will find concrete and pebbly beaches and rest areas, an outdoor pool, a sailing club, a city port, and numerous stairway turns that will take you to the city center.

The city promenade is an ideal route for walking, running, roller and bicycle riding, meditation by the sea, discovering the history of the city or socializing in some of the cafes with a relaxing sea view.
